I've been working on this animated pilot for a while. It's rewarding work, but It's quite isolating. I've been romanticizing the idea of having a rival in animation. Someone who is trying to do similar things as me. Someone where there's mutual respect, but an unquenchable desire to defeat them. Some real Shonen sports anime vibes. Anyone want to (artistically) compete for our honor? Anybody else making something special that needs a rival to light a fire under their ass?

Compliments and support are wonderful--- I love those, but right now more than anything I want that competitive spirit.
